This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and supportive Environment Team, playing an important role in protecting wildlife and the environment across Conwy. Working closely with the Team Leader and Environment Officers, you will provide essential administrative support that helps the team deliver its regulatory and operational responsibilities.
Your work will include coordinating and collating regulatory compliance information, administering incident response rotas, and ensuring pool vehicles are maintained and available when needed. You will also support procurement processes to help ensure the team has the equipment and safety resources required to carry out its work effectively.

The role offers excellent opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, with support to gain experience in areas such as evidence collation, database administration and simple permit determination. You will also respond to routine customer enquiries and ensure more complex queries are directed to the appropriate specialist staff.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual who enjoys working as part of a committed team and wants to make a meaningful contribution to environmental protection in Conwy.

Driving is essential for this role as it involves maintaining pool vehicles.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the NRW office at the above location and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
