Role summary

• The General Medical Council (GMC) regulates doctors and some healthcare workers.
• They want to add one new member to their Investment Committee for 4 years.
• This role helps manage how the GMC invests its money (£63 million).

Skills and experience

• Have a strong background in investments or fund management.
• Know about fixed income and managing multi-assets (different types of investments).
• Understand ethics (doing the right thing) when investing.
• Be able to think carefully and plan for the future.
• Follow the GMC’s Code of Conduct and Nolan Principles (rules about honesty and fairness).

Location and workplace

• Meetings are in London.
• You will attend meetings 4 times a year, with some extra if needed.
