Role summary

• You will be a Board Member at Adnodd.
• Adnodd helps provide Welsh and English learning resources.
• You will help plan the organisation's future and check how well it is doing.
• You will join the Audit & Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC) to give advice on money, risks, and rules.
• The job lasts 3 years and needs about 2 days of work each month.

Skills and experience

• Know about managing money or risks in big organisations.
• Understand how boards work and how to check risks and money.
• Able to look at information carefully and give clear advice.
• Work well with others and give helpful feedback.
• Speak some Welsh (Level 1 or above).
• Welsh language help will be given if needed.
• Good to have experience in finance, law, contracts, or public bodies.

Location and workplace

• Meetings are both online and in different places in Wales.
• Board meetings use Welsh with translation available.
• Committee meetings are in English.
