Role summary

You will help two groups work well together: Network Rail and Walk, Wheel, Cycle Trust.
Your job is to guide people about property and safety questions.
You will help support walking, wheeling (using bikes or wheelchairs), and cycling plans.
This job lasts until 31 January 2029.

Key tasks

Help partners understand property and safety rules.
Support projects that make travel safer and better.
Work with others to plan walking and cycling schemes.
Promote walking, wheeling, and cycling for travel.

Skills and experience

Know about Network Rail property or safety rules.
Have a degree or similar in transport, planning, engineering, or similar.
Experience with rail projects is good.
Be able to keep children and adults safe in your work.
You do not need to meet all these exactly to apply.

Pay and hours

Salary is £43,191 a year (less if part-time).
Full time is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexible working hours can be discussed.

Location and workplace

Work in Manchester or Birmingham.
You may work from home sometimes.
